It's official...Summer is o-v-e-r. Lynn had to go back to work this week. She wasn't excited about that at all. These first couple of weeks are always pretty hard on her. I'm trying my best to keep her spirits up, so hopefully she survives.
I am excited that I will be getting Bella this Sunday and will get her until Wed. This will be the last time I will get her before she heads back to school in a couple of weeks. I have missed her since she was last down this way. It will be very nice to see her again.
Back to Lynn's first week of work...she calls me on Monday afternoon (she was picking up Kaiah from daycare) and tells me that her car won't start so I had to drive down there and we were starting to think it was the battery because we have had this problem before with her car. I tried to jump it to no avail. We took the battery out (which is much easier to get out than the one in my Durango) and took it to O'Reilly's to get tested. They ran their little test (which took over an hour) and told us that we needed to replace the battery, so we did. We got back to the car and once it was installed....NOTHING! Car still won't start. We ended up having to get the car towed to the dealership (luckily it was under warranty still) and they end up telling us that there was a problem with the car sensing that the brake pedal was pushed in to get started. Dumb new fangled cars! Who thinks to themselves, "Oh no, my car won't start...I better check the brakes!?!" Oh well, we got it fixed AND she has a new battery, so hopefully we won't have any more problems with her car. ;)
Well not much else is happening with us. I hope everyone is doing great.
Much Love,
Chad

The Beginning
Well quite a bit has happened since my last post. The most important of which happened most recently. :)
I GOT MARRIED!!! I am now the husband to the most wonderful woman on the planet. Lynn and I couldn't be happier with how smoothly things went with the wedding and "reception". All the things we were worried about before the ceremony seemed to just take care of themselves (thanks to friends and family, of course). We were also very glad that the pool area didn't have the music blaring like when we toured the area a few months ago.
I have posted the video of the ceremony on my Facebook page, if you'd like to check it out.
Our honeymoon in Hawaii was absolutely PERFECT! I can definitely see myself going back there as soon as possible. We were only a few hundred yards away from the beach and a lot of good eating was near our hotel as well (Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang's, RM Yogurt). We never did find any good seafood places though, which was kind of sad.
For those that don't know, we stayed in Waikiki at the Ohana Beachcomber. We mostly enjoyed the hotel (except for the devilish elevator system). Seriously the WORST elevators I have ever been on. :|
We did a tour of Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City. It was a pretty informative tour. Cousin Oscar (our driver) was pretty funny and had great info on everywhere we passed. We also got to drive through the "Punchbowl" which is a cemetery up on one of the mountains. We definitely want to go back once they finish with the remodeling of the Pearl Harbor visitor center area. There was a lot of construction going on and so we didn't get the "full" experience.
We are also BIG fans of the Trolley system they had there. It was great to be able to just hop on a trolley and be taken to all the big shopping areas in Waikiki and Ala Moana (Lynn ESPECIALLY loved that part about the transit system).
On Saturday, we ended up renting a car and heading up to the North Shore and around the rest of the island. It was very beautiful and next time we will definitely take more time going around that part of the island.
The one thing we are NOT fans of was all the one-way streets and crazy parking situations that Honolulu presents to its drivers. Crazy stuff!
Thanks again to everyone who was able to attend the wedding. We loved having you all there and can't wait until we can get everyone together again.
Much Love,
Chad & Lynn

Well Hello
I see that it has been quite awhile since I have posted anything on here. I guess I've relied a little too heavily on Facebook to get my news out to those I love. Well I guess I will throw a little something up here for fun. :)
As most of you already know, I will be getting married this summer to my wonderful fiance, Lynn. She has made me the happiest guy in the world. (I also happen to consider myself the luckiest guy as well). I can't wait to be her husband. In fact, we are taking a little day trip to Vegas this weekend to check out some venues where we would like to have the wedding. I have seen pictures of a few of them and they all look fantastic. Also, I got to see the ring that Lynn chose for me today and does she have some good taste or what. ;) Love you baby.
I was glad to have Bella with me this last weekend, even though I bored her to death because I was very sick. She was nice enough to put up with me though. :) We had fun playing games and watching some videos. I had to buy her an early Easter present though, so we went to the store and she picked out a mermaid Barbie doll and the movie that went with it. :) She loved them both. Can't wait to see her again at the end of April.
Speaking of...I thought "April showers" were supposed to be RAIN, not almost a foot of SNOW on top of my car. This is a very cruel joke on Mother Nature's part.
Sorry for my slacking on the updates. Can't promise they will get any better though. lol
Much Love,
Chad
