New Story Posted

Hey everyone, just thought I would drop you a little line and tell you how things are going. First off, Bella is here with me and as always we are having a blast. Next week she is going to spend some time up at Grandma's and the Great's house. They want to see her and I figure since school is starting back up this would be the perfect time for her to go see them again. And then again on the 18th she is going to spend the weekend with them again while Krissy and her mom go to their "ladies' outing" up in Salt Lake. We appreciate them watching her so I don't have to take any work off.

And as for the title of this blog...I have posted a new story (old story, new post) for everyone to read. Click HERE to read. I need to develop it a little more, but it isn't a bad beginning to some sort of short story. If you have any ideas on how to improve it or maybe even some *cough, cough* illustrations *cough, cough*. That last comment was directed at a CERTAIN family member who I shall not name. :-) That would be a great help. LOL.
Don't forget to leave your comments on what you liked or disliked about the story. I need some constructive HONEST criticism. Thanks everyone.

My love to all,
Chad

My "Works" Page

Well awhile back I created another blog, where I was going to post my writings and such, well there isn't much on it as of now, but there will be more (over time). The address is http://chadstrong.blogspot.com/ or you can just click the Top Link on the right side of the page.

Easy enough to remember...I HIGHLY recommend "Sunday Drive". One of my best humor poems EVER!!!

The REUNION

Well I went to my 10 yr. reunion on Monday and I have to say I had a blast. It was great seeing all my old friends. The evening started with a little mingling from everyone. Then we feasted on some dutchoven chicken and potatoes, rolls, and a salad. And for dessert they served up some yummy dutchoven peach cobbler. After dinner, we did the "stand up and tell us about yourself" speeches. It was good to hear that everyone was doing pretty well for themselves. Then we had drawings for donated gifts. And then the next 3 people to plan our 15 yr reunion got picked. They should do a great job though. Then it was time for pictures and we felt like we were in front of a pack of paparazzi. Lights flashing everywhere. It was a fun time. People started trickling away around this time and a few of us continued talking and ctaching up on things. I got home around 11pm. I am excited to see if more people show up for the 15 yr reunion. We had about 36 of 96 graduates show up. So not too bad of a showing. I will see if I can get some pics and I will post them so you can see who all showed up.

Much love,
Chad
