The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I had to take Bella to the dentist down in St. George. She was excited to go, but I did notice that when we got there she got a little scared. She did, however, handle the appointment like a champ. :) The dentist said she will definitely need braces when she gets a little older (which I already knew because sadly she got MY jacked up teeth) lol.
We are going to have to make her a orthodontics appointment to deal with some issues with her molars, but we are waiting until the new year to deal with that.
Here she is chillin' in the chair, watching some Animal Planet.

Halloween Weekend
Well I had a pretty good Halloween weekend. I had to work Saturday morning, but only until about noon. I got a call from Bella that morning also, she had to tell me the tale of her costume evolution. When she went to school on Friday she was dressed as a princess (beautiful as always)...well I guess some kids made fun of the fact that she wasn't "scary". So she ended up going trick-or-treating as a "Zombie Bride".
I think she pulled it off quite nicely. :)
I also went and saw Anissa's new place. I'm sure it will look quite nicer once she has all her stuff put away. Then I went to Tonya's and visited with them for a bit. Went for dinner to Mongolian BBQ with Lynn, Mom, Anissa, Anje and Shaylie. Haven't eaten there in quite some time so it was delicious.
On Sunday, Lynn and I went on a shopping trip around town trying to find the Tootsie Child's Play candy mix bags for 50% off, but everywhere we went was already sold out of them. :( We were looking to get our flavored Tootsie roll midgees fix for the year. Oh well...maybe next year.
We ended up going to see the movie Couples Retreat. We got a kick out of it. There were some pretty funny parts in it. We then went to restaurant that Lynn has wanted to go to pretty much since we met nearly 6 months ago...it is called Anasazi Steakhouse. The main reason she has wanted to try this place out was for their fondue, however, their main entrees ended up being absolutely delicious as well. Lynn got the Shrimp and Scallops duet which she ordered "Hot off the rock" style. I ordered the 12 oz. Top Sirloin "open fired" style (grilled). To finish off we had the Dark Chocolate fondue (they have about 8 different chocolate fondues). With each pot they serve: Cheesecake, Brownies, Cream Puffs, Bananas (Lynn's favorite), Grapes, Strawberries, and pretzels (my favorite). We totally recommend this place to eat. A little on the expensive side, but not too bad overall. :)
Ended the evening by relaxing at home watching "The Amazing Race" while we let our stomachs settle from all the food we shoved in there.
Couldn't have hoped for a better weekend. :) I hope everyone had a similarly great weekend and Halloween. :)
Much Love,
Chad

Bella's First Day of School
Here is a picture of Bella on her first day of school. She started first grade this year and has been doing very well. She has always loved going to school. I am glad that she enjoys it. She is one smart little cookie and I am very proud of her. :)
Sorry it has taken so long for me to get an update on here. Not a whole lot has been going on with me. During the month of August the Cedar City airport was closed down so they could resurface the runway. It was nice to have the time off. I was able to get Bella for about 10 days during that time which was great. I had a lot of fun hanging out with her. While she was with me she started getting another wiggly tooth, so when she got back to Krissy's, they were able to pull it out and Bella was way excited to have yet another tooth gone. :)
Lynn and I are still doing great. She has started back up in school so we are having to work around both of our schedules to get some time to hang out together. It will be easier when October comes around.
SkyWest is switching their schedule around so I will in turn be switching my work days to Wed-Sat. I haven't had a weekend day scheduled off since I started working for TSA seven years ago. This will be much nicer, in fact it will be like having the whole weekend off because I will only have to work Saturday morning and then I am done. This is probably the best schedule I've had for quite some time.

Tooth Fairy Time!!!!
Well, the time has finally come. Bella has lost her first tooth! :) She is super excited. She told me that it didn't even hurt when Krissy pulled it out with the string. I'm way happy for her. She wouldn't stop playing with that tooth at Lagoon. lol
In other Bella related news, she is NOT moving down to St. George this summer. She and I both are totally bummed about it. She misses her cousins badly. I'm glad she was able to see the girls at Lagoon and that she'll get to see them again over the 4th of July weekend.
Much Love,
Chad

News at 11....
So I do have a couple of things that I think should be discussed here.
The first thing is that I have met a wonderful girl named Lynn. We have been dating for a bit now and it has been a long time since I've been this happy. I WAS going to wait until I had a picture of the two of us together, but I just can't wait for that to happen (Lynn isn't a fan of photos of herself...Sorry babe, had to tell them - lol).
She is very excited to meet everyone. I recently met her daughter (Kaiah, 4.5 yrs old) and she is adorable. She kept telling Lynn that she wanted to hug and kiss me. And then she'd just run up and hug me. It was way cute. Kaiah was a little upset with me when I left without having a chance to say goodbye to her..but she has since forgiven me. :D
I can't wait for everyone to meet Lynn. She is a great person and I am lucky to have her in my life.
And now for something completely different....
BELLA IS MOVING BACK TO ST. GEORGE!!!!!!! (There's excitement for you)
Krissy called me the other day and said that they will be moving back in about two months. This is some of the best news I've ever had. I have missed her since they moved up to Ogden. I am glad she will be able to be near her cousins and family again. :)
Much Love,

Yes I've done it...I've gone and joined the World o' Twitter. I'm sure some of you don't know what that is...it is basically a site that lets you keep your friends/family informed of what you are doing throughout your day (in bursts of 140 characters. To visit my page click here. That should give you some idea of what it is.
If you are already on Twitter let me know so I can follow you. :)

New Month = New Blog
Well, as usual, not a whole lot has been going on with me. I have just been working and lazing about as usual.
The most exciting things for me to happen lately, I guess, would have to be the recent purchase of a new bed. For the past 3 years I've talked about getting a new bed. I just kept putting it off and putting it off. So I called this store down in St. George (the mattress gallery) and asked them what were the prices like on a Cali King pillowtop mattress. So I got the a no-flip Cali King w/box spring and frame for under $500. :) Not too bad of a deal if I do say so myself. The bed is supposed to be delivered this week sometime. I still have to call them back and get the details.
Another purchase that I have recently made is a GPS for my excursions into the unknown. I decided to purchase the Garmin nuvi 760. Not a bad little piece of machinery. :) I'm hoping to get out and take more pictures this spring. I tried to go up the canyon last week, but it was so foggy, I could barely see about 6 ft in front of me, so I turned around and came back down.
Well I hope everything is going well with all of you out there. Have a great month of March, and you never know...something may come up to make me post again before the month is out. ;)

Happy Birthday Isabella Dawn!
So today is my Bella's 6th birthday. I can't believe how much has happened in the years since has been born. I was lucky enough to have her for quite a bit of time over the last two weeks. It was the most I'd been able to see her in quite some time. We had lots of fun. We tried out some new video games. She really likes the new one I had called A Kingdom for Keflings. :) She played that thing for a LONG time. Another surprising turn was this....
Some of you may remember a silly show back in the 80s called The Super Mario Super Show. This was the one where Lou Albano played Mario and they did live action scenes along with an animated Super Mario series. Well we found one in a redbox and she was determined for us to rent it. We then ended up streaming some more episodes using Netflix. It was funny to watch that show again. lol She really enjoyed them.
She is back up home now. And she is missed as always....so in honor of her birthday I am posting my poem to her that I wrote soon after she was born.
It is entitled - DAUGHTER
Our little angel came to our lives
A blessing to myself and my wife
And with her we will share our love
And give our thanks to the Heavens above
Her face so fair, and her smile so bright
Through her shines a divine light
That brightens up my heart and mind
And proves to the world that she is kind
Even when she begins to cry
I look at her and remember why
I am in this world for her alone
To help her make it on her own
So once again, Happy Birthday my beautiful daugther. I love you lots.
Much Love,
Chad

It's About Time
I know, I know. This blog has taken me WAY too long to post. Every time I would look at the pics to try and decide which ones to post, I would just get overwhelmed and then I would just tell myself, "I can just do it tomorrow". Next thing I knew it was 3 weeks later and still no post from me. So here are some of the pics from Christmas in Holden. :)
