Well I had a pretty good Halloween weekend. I had to work Saturday morning, but only until about noon. I got a call from Bella that morning also, she had to tell me the tale of her costume evolution. When she went to school on Friday she was dressed as a princess (beautiful as always)...well I guess some kids made fun of the fact that she wasn't "scary". So she ended up going trick-or-treating as a "Zombie Bride".
I think she pulled it off quite nicely. :)
I also went and saw Anissa's new place. I'm sure it will look quite nicer once she has all her stuff put away. Then I went to Tonya's and visited with them for a bit. Went for dinner to Mongolian BBQ with Lynn, Mom, Anissa, Anje and Shaylie. Haven't eaten there in quite some time so it was delicious.
On Sunday, Lynn and I went on a shopping trip around town trying to find the Tootsie Child's Play candy mix bags for 50% off, but everywhere we went was already sold out of them. :( We were looking to get our flavored Tootsie roll midgees fix for the year. Oh well...maybe next year.
We ended up going to see the movie Couples Retreat. We got a kick out of it. There were some pretty funny parts in it. We then went to restaurant that Lynn has wanted to go to pretty much since we met nearly 6 months ago...it is called Anasazi Steakhouse. The main reason she has wanted to try this place out was for their fondue, however, their main entrees ended up being absolutely delicious as well. Lynn got the Shrimp and Scallops duet which she ordered "Hot off the rock" style. I ordered the 12 oz. Top Sirloin "open fired" style (grilled). To finish off we had the Dark Chocolate fondue (they have about 8 different chocolate fondues). With each pot they serve: Cheesecake, Brownies, Cream Puffs, Bananas (Lynn's favorite), Grapes, Strawberries, and pretzels (my favorite). We totally recommend this place to eat. A little on the expensive side, but not too bad overall. :)
Ended the evening by relaxing at home watching "The Amazing Race" while we let our stomachs settle from all the food we shoved in there.
Couldn't have hoped for a better weekend. :) I hope everyone had a similarly great weekend and Halloween. :)
Much Love,
Chad
